Netflix currently has three subscription plans with different prices. Users can choose which contract is right for them, but each one requires a monthly payment.

Netflix last raised its prices on 6th October 2017, but raised them again in May this year. Below are the current Netflix UK subscription costs.

£5.99 per month The cheapest membership allows subscribers to watch on one device at a time in standard definition
£8.99 per month Standard subscription Viewers can watch in HD and on two devices at a time.

£11.99 a month Premium subscription Viewers can watch in Ultra HD where available, on four devices at a time.
After a one month free trial, Netflix subscribers are automatically switched to the £8.99 per month package. Users can view or change their payment plan in their account settings. Go to ‘Change Plan‘ to find out more.

There is a benifit that Netflix is available on pretty much any screen, tablet, device or gaming console. You can watch on your TV either through built-in apps, your set-top box or a cheap additional piece of technology. For a full list of supported devices click here. You can watch on multiple devices as long as you have the right subscription. Standard and up include this.

There are few county having less prices for Netflix Plans such as Colombia,India and Canada having very low rate.

Which contry have high rate for Netflix

In contrast to the above, the most expensive monthly subscriptions for Netflix are found in the below areas, which, if you look closely, are primarily made up of Nordic countries and their neighbors.

According to these statistics, if you live in Switzerland, you’re paying $3.55 (approximately 35 percent) more for the privilege of Netflix access than the average Netflix customer. This is $6.50 approximately 75 percent more than the cheapest place, Colombia. And as we’ve already seen, you’re probably being given access to a far more limited library, as well.

When comparing the cost per month of Netflix around the world, the cheapest place to watch Netflix is Colombia. At a cost per month of $5.40 (£4.14), it’s $3.59 or £1.85 cheaper than the US and UK, respectively that’s around 50 or 37 percent!

In fact, on a cost-per-month basis, the US and UK don’t fare too well, with the US falling into the bottom 10 and the UK ranking as the 16th cheapest place. This is probably due to Netflix using the US, UK, et. al., to subsidize its growth elsewhere.

However, as and when the price hike is implemented in the UK, it will fall dramatically into the bottom 10, becoming the fourth most expensive place on a cost-per-month basis. This will make it nearly 9 percent more expensive than the average cost per month £6.41. However, at present, the UK is nearly 7 percent cheaper than average.

The US is over 7 percent more expensive than the average cost per month $8.35.
